Her expertise is broad and multifaceted, encompassing various domains such as race, culture, sports, entertainment, tech, business, and notably, healthcare.
Kelley’s extensive background spans public relations, communications, new media, print, and digital journalism, as well as production and film. Her deep understanding of web design, internet tools, content management systems, and emerging business models has enabled her to significantly enhance the visibility of organizations.
As a consultant, Kelley focuses on content development, analysis and management, organizational and digital audits, strategic communications, government contracting, minority business certifications, media training, corporate and community engagement, reputation analysis and identity, production management, project management and small business startup coaching.
Kelley combines strategy with empathy, leading with intellect, action, and passion. Her professional life is complemented by her deep-rooted passion for healthcare and wellness. As a certified health and wellness coach, she is committed to combating health disparities and bridging the digital divide among underserved and senior communities. Her advocacy work extends to the unhoused, and she is a vocal proponent of raising awareness about environmental racism.
Her work in the healthcare sector has been transformative. At the JPR Health Communications Center, she led health policy strategy discussions, managed the marketing and communications department, and promoted health advocacy. Her effective use of digital components in media relations, communications efforts, and marketing campaigns significantly supported the business unit’s promotional strategy and onsite activations.

Kelley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in English and a concentration in African-American Literature from The University of Memphis. She is pursuing a Master of Legal Studies with a concentration in human rights at Trinity Law.
